My name is Katie and this is my art blog. I take pictures as well as draw, paint, and some ceramics. On this blog I will post my artwork as well as talk about ideas I have for my next projects, reblog things that I am interested in, and probably rant about things that happen in everyday life. Enjoy and leave comments or ask questions if you have any!

Last night, you were all I could think of.
Dreams of you poured into me throughout the cycle of sleep.
Each moment spent with you, I wanted to grip onto tighter and tighter
Never letting go.
Awakening, you were there beside me
Gripping onto me as I gripped you
Entwined together; Two becoming One.
A smile crept softly onto my face
The realness of you settling the turmoil encountered across the night
I wish more nights could be like this
Last night, I watched as police officers wearing bullet proof vests and carrying rifles ran (yes, ran) past my apartment complex to pursue an incident inside my complex. There where multiple officers stationed on several floors to monitor the area and caution tape to keep the watchers at bay. It lasted until 1am.
Today as I’m driving home, somehow a man was able to drive his truck over a concrete slab but could not make it over so now his truck sits see-sawing the barrier.
I’m not sure what is going on but something is happening to stir up the crazies and I’m hoping it’s not Christopher Moore’s new novel, Serpent of Venice which comes out later this month (http://www.amazon.com/The-Serpent-Venice-A-Novel/dp/0061779768/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1396474376&sr=8-1&keywords=christopher+moore+serpent+of+venice)
